Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are compact text files stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you visit web platforms. They help websites remember your device, preserve active login sessions, store search filters, and enhance overall browsing responsiveness.

In addition to standard HTTP cookies, FirstDream employs modern HTML5 browser storage technologies (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) to provide rapid page interactions and zero-latency property comparisons.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

FirstDream utilizes cookies categorized based on their technical function:

3. Local & Session Storage

We use modern client-side storage for features that enhance offline speed and eliminate redundant network transfers:

• City Selection Cache: Stores your current real estate market selection (e.g. Pune, Mumbai, Delhi) to filter listings instantly without querying the server on every click.
• Saved & Liked Properties: Allows guest and logged-in seekers to curate their favorites list temporarily while exploring.
• Swipe Deck State: Keeps track of cards viewed in the interactive PropSwipe module so you never view repeated listings during a single session.

4. Third-Party Services & Integrations

FirstDream partners with verified external infrastructure providers who may place cookies subject to their independent privacy standards:

• Razorpay: Facilitates secure payment tokenization for token booking amounts and builder subscription plans with PCI-DSS compliance.
• Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): Fast-loads media assets, fonts (Google Fonts Inter), and FontAwesome icons from nearest edge servers.
• WhatsApp Web API: Enables direct, one-click messaging between genuine buyers and verified property owners.

5. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You maintain full control over cookie usage. You can configure your browser to decline cookies, receive notifications before cookies are stored, or erase existing cookies:

• Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data.
• Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection.
• Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
• Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

Note: If you disable essential session cookies, certain dynamic features (such as customer dashboard login, property posting, and real-time saved properties) may not function properly.
